I earned a Ph.D. in biology from Harvard University, and then spent 13 years teaching biology at Harvard University and Colorado College. I've taught hundreds of classes and spent thousands of hours discussing science with non-experts. I've been the "sage on the stage" for students in elementary school through graduate school, their parents, K-12 teachers, and other members of the general public. I've reviewed hundreds of applications for tenure-track faculty positions and for medical school. I've provided editorial feedback on thousands of pages of scientific writing from undergraduates, graduate students, and Ph.D. scientists, including many ESL writers. My research was in molecular biology and genetics, but I have taught and written widely in the biological, medical, and social sciences.

Nancy is PHENOMENAL. She did an excellent job with my "cover letter." The cover letter required over 20 points to be addressed, and I didn't know where to start (I was dealing with a tight deadline and there was no way I could have done it without her support). I knew I was in the right hands when she asked to see my resume and job posting; only a person that knows how to custom and tailor a cover letter would ask for this.
