With my combined teaching, writing, editing, and beta reading experience, I bring over sixteen years of experience to the table. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology and a Master's in Education, I taught Science for Shelby County Schools for fourteen years and wrote curriculum materials for the Science curriculum. I went on to teach Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies to middle schoolers at Natural Learning School and Adults as lead teacher at Hopeworks Adult Education Program. I began freelance writing in 2014, completing various non-fiction and fiction jobs including biographies, short stories, curriculum materials, and full-length novels. That same year, I self-published a collection of Southern Gothic short stories, 'Tales from the RIm'. I became a beta reader for Winterwolf Press in 2016 and began to write various articles involving nature, science, food, and music for Click Magazine that same year. In 2019, Winterwolf Press will publish my debut novel.
