Hello, I'm Stefania, an Italian translator specialising in creative fields and DTP with Adobe Indesign. I'm based in a tiny medieval village in Tuscany. From there, I have been working in the translation industry for 9 years. Here are some of the jobs I did: - Translation of Spanish American novels from renowned writers like Mario Benedetti, Sergio Pitol, Leonardo Padura, Hernán Ronsino etc. I translated essays from English-speaking writers, too. Including Tolkien! - Subtitling of short commercials as well as full-length movies. I can take care of the full process: transcription, time-coding, translation, synchronization, and creation of CC or burnt-in subtitles. - DTP projects in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Keynote, and Sketch. I'm also a member of AITI, the Italian Association of Translators and Interpreters.
