My name is Sharon Brannon. I am a freelance translator of 30 years of experience, based in California. I lived in Caracas, Venezuela for several years in the late 70's and became a Spanish to English translator for the author Valentina Sutovsky who wrote books about the history of the Jewish community, among them "La Historia Del Pueblo Judio". In Caracas I was also a translator from Spanish to Hebrew and vice versa, and Portuguese in the Language Department at "Universidad Metropolitana" of Caracas. Subsequently I worked as an Administrator in an English Second Language for adults school in Montebello, California, where there is a large Hispanic community. I specialize in the translation of Educational and History texts such as books, scientific and academic and literary texts but also have vast experience in a number of different areas including the translation of technical texts as well as copywriting material.
