I am Native speaker of Urdu and Punjabi and having the native fluency in Hindi. Besides, I have good level of command in English. I have also good command on Farsi and elementary level of knowledge about Arabic. I am having Master Degree in Urdu language and literature from Punjab University, Lahore (Pakistan). I am also having Master Degree in Economics from the same University. I am doing Urdu translation since 1983 since I was a college student in Islamabad, Pakistan. Practically I started Urdu translation in 1984 when I joined the Daily Urdu newspaper “Tamir” which was used to publish from Rawalpindi, Pakistan. My duties included translation of news from English to Urdu and then it’s proofreading. Since then I have translated ten of Millions of words from and into Urdu. I started translation from and into Punjabi since 1992. I started this by translating Short stories from English. I am fully aware of both the Punjabi Scripts; Shahmukhi or Western Script of Punjabi used in Pakistan and Gurumukhi or Eastern Script used in India. I have good experience in all the subjects e.g. Education, Medical, Legal, Social, Political, and Technical fields. My specialty is Literature and Poetry. I moved to the USA in 2001 and started my translation career here. Now I have the clients through out the USA, Canada, Europe and Asia. Memberships 1- American Translators Association 2- New York Circle of Translators
