I graduated from Pyatigorsk State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages (now Pyatigorsk State Linguistic University) where I studied English and German in 1989-94. Worked as a translator-interpreter for MSF(Medecines Sans Frontieres -Doctors Without Borders)France, MSF Holland, Hilfswerk Austria. Before immigrating to Canada worked as a translator for the Russian Psychological Society, translating their journal into English. In Canada, I am a translator for the Multicultural Centre and I have achieved a passing grade in the Russian-English ILSAT (The Interpreter Language and Skills Assessment Tool) with the scores of 90-96 %.
