US Born and bred, my father was an English professor. All my life, I have written creatively and professionally, usually as a contributor to small publications and as a ghostwriter. I tried to escape my destiny as a linguist and studied Business Administration in Silicon Valley, then went to work for the Stanford Daily newspaper as a financial advisor.
