I have recently got my degree as a Public Accountant. Apart from my professional studies, I have studied English since my childhood. Since then, I have taken several international exams, such as the FCE, the CAE, and the CPE, issued by the University Of Cambridge, UK. Moreover, I lived in the UK for 6 months, studying at a language school and living with a host family. There, my studies focused mostly in Business English. My fluent English comes as a result of that experience, because it allowed me to acquire a good grasp of the hues and shades of meaning of the language. Those are some of the reasons why I consider my close connection to the English language and culture to be one of my strongest qualities. In addition, because of my taste for languages, I have learnt Portuguese and French as well. I have been studying the first one for 5 years, and last year I sat for the CELPE-Bras. I feel particularly confident about this language, and I am quite fluent in it. My university studies make me particularly skillful in the translation of themes related to Economics, Finance, Accounting and Law. However, in my current job, I translate educational texts of a wide range of subjects, which is why I have mastered the peculiarities of different areas, such as Social Studies, Education, Medicine, IT, among others. In the company I work for, I also do the bidding, invoicing and accounts reconciliation. In accord with the requirements for this position, I translate with precision and attention to meanings and style. My qualities include excellent discipline and concentration, which is highly important for long hours working at home.
