Born in São Paulo, Brazil, I received a B.A. from Pontifícia Universidade Católica in English Language and Literature. From 1992 through 2006, I lived in the United States where I had the opportunity to participate in a training internship program at a translation company. The two-year training program provided me with a wealth of knowledge and paved the way for my career to become an ATA Certified Translator. Today, I live in Brazil and work with my clients worldwide. After that, I worked for six years as a Senior Portuguese In-house Translator and a Portuguese Department Manager Assistant in a US publishing company, where I was able to apply my linguistic knowledge to achieve quality in translating in-flight magazines and menus. Apart from my over 26 years of experience in the translation business, my previous experiences also include teaching English as a Second Language for top executives in multinational companies and being a sole proprietor of an English Language School.
