Dear valud customer, Academically I qualified as a translator through an accreditation test run by the National Authority for Accreditation of Translators and Interpreters in 1987, at the level III, for the Vietnamese and English two-way translation. Before this I used to work as a translator in the refugee camp in Thailand for the American missionaries. Since 1982when I arrived in Australia I started my career as a translator and interpreter, bilingual social worker, employment consultant and multicultural liaison officer, for a variety of community-based organisations and government departments up to 2000. During the past eight years I have consistently been working as a freelance interpreter and translator for medical, legal and commercial practitionners. Despite my exposure to the occupational and vocational world, I always enhance my languistic skills by writing prolifically on almost everything, for newspapers, newsletters, speeches, listening to Vietnamese mass media from all around the world, attending trainining sessions for professional interpreters and translators. Thus I feel full confidence in handling technically complex assignments or literarily rich works. Also I owe those versality to my good command over the French and Chinese languages which indeed have a cultural influence on Vietnam.
