A few days ago, I handed my editor a next-day delivery project. I received an edited version on time, but it was a file with no edits after page 3 of a total of 28 pages. I quickly messaged her about it, but I haven't heard back yet. I believe this was not intentional. But I chose the next-day delivery to meet the deadline of submission. I have already submitted my paper, so even if I got the correct file later, sadly it wouldn't help me at all.

Intrusive advising is a new effort on college campuses to intervene often and when needed in students' studies to prevent them from failing and dropping out. It is beginning to replace the notion of offering services for students who need them but putting the onus on the students to seek help. Now university staff reach out when students show signs of failing, intrusive advising.

I asked LMAedit to check my statements of interest to apply for four graduate programs in multiple universities. I was accepted in all but one, the latter probably because I chose a wrong person as referee. I must highlight that one of the universities I was accepted was UC Berkeley. While not all the credit or blame can be placed on an editor in the college application process, it is also true that if she had not done a good job, the process would not have been successful. She delivered valuable comments and made good corrections to my documents. Thus, I give her five stars.
