I also have three years of graduate study in history with particular expertise in ancient history, medieval history, Native American history, and US history from the Revolutionary War period through the Civil War era. And I am a published poet with a flair for language who can edit your articles, pamphlets or brochures, and essays. Currently I am employed as Managing Editor of Aesthetic Surgery Journal, a peer-reviewed journal published by the leading society of board-certified aesthetic plastic surgeons. I have also copy edited standard medical texts such as Willerson, Cardiovascular Medicine, Abeloff et al, Clinical Oncology, and Emery and Rimoin's Principles and Practice of Medical Genetics. One of my responsibilities is handling all the correspondence among editors, reviewers, and contributors with respect to manuscript peer review. I know what editors and reviewers look for in a manuscript, and I can assist you in making sure that your submission meets their expectations. Does that mean that I can guarantee publication of your submission? Of course not. That ultimately will depend on our work, not mine.
