With over 17 years in the business, there’s almost nothing in the realm of content I haven’t written, proofed or edited. It started in college with a document for Vatican II. Professionally, I am an award-winning reporter (AP Award, 1991, Best Short Feature), experienced technical writer, advertising writer and editor and I currently manage and edit content for some of the largest Web sites in the world. With articles coming in from 300 freelancers on a regular basis, I know what it means to preserve your voice while keeping your writing clear, focused, grammatically correct and engaging to the reader. Most recently, I edited a friend’s Doctoral Thesis in Robotics. People are typically amazed at how quickly I work... part of it is my extensive experience and two degrees, but a great deal of it is down to natural aptitude and the variety of content I’ve developed and edited (even online dating profiles, two of which led to marriages!). My love of words and writing in general is part of who I am. I dream of words in my sleep and make time to read every day.
