With a background in journalism, teaching, management consulting, grant writing and creative writing, I have collaborated and led in different writing environments as a reporter, writer, copy editor, editor and editorial intern. I take great pleasure in making works shine by bringing open-mindedness to the analytical, and clarity to the creative. I tease out the big picture and polish the details along the way. Since 2017, I have provided grant, resume and creative writing editing services, and have consistently made a positive and meaningful impact to my clients' lives and careers. In 2018, I edited and co-wrote the winning application for a national jewelry business strategy award (Halstead Grant). In 2023, I edited a 70,000-word novel and partnered closely with the author, who is seeking representation for this work. I am currently in progress to complete The Poynter/ACES Advanced Editing certificate, and am expected to do so by Fall 2023.
