I worked as a Research Scientist at Educational Testing Service for over 10 years, and have directed extensive research projects, all requiring successful proposals. I have published one book, three chapters, and two encyclopedia articles as well as 23 professional reports, five circulated publications, and made 50 professional speeches and presentations. (All were in APA style). As a Core ADjunct Faculty member, I have been teaching graduate education courses at a local private university for over 10 years, an institution that has adopted APA style across the curriculum. For five years, I've regularly taught their two courses on APA style writing--one involving the literature review, the other involving a full research report or proposal. I give students frequent feedback on their papers, which they need in order to gradually develop APA style.
