I have been a writer and editor for the past five years, writing fiction, non-fiction, and having edited both. I have written a book on the elements of fiction, encouraging people who want to write a novel, and explaining the basics. As a trial lawyer for 19 years, I've had much experience using language to persuade people. I have a natural ability to use just the right words, and an appreciation for the nuance of language. I believe that "How you say it is as important as what you say." I have used my powers of persuasion to write business documents for clients, especially for sales proposals and the advantages of utilizing my clients services. Before becoming a lawyer, I was a business woman and am very familiar with the language of business. I have just completed ghost writing a book of business definitions. I am a very eclectic person with a knowledge of, and an interest in, many topics. I brought this experience to bear in my law practice, and am now using it to edit many different types of books. My major in undergraduate school was in Political Science, but my forte has always been English. I had a law school professor say that my command of the language was so good that she almost gave me an A for a B+ paper.
