I currently teach developmental writing at a community college. In this capacity, I teach basic English grammar and punctuation, as well as steps in the writing process and essay development. As a faculty member, I am considered an excellent editing and proofing resource for formal reports and documents. I taught writing for ten years at the University of Iowa, and I edited and proofed several Ph.D. dissertations while I was a graduate student and an instructor at Iowa. I also supplemented my income on a part-time job where I edited instructions and information manuals for spine injury research. I have a Ph.D. in Education and a Masters in English Education. I enjoy editing and proofing and would welcome and opportunity to supplement my income in this manner.
