After receiving my Master's Degree in English, I became a copy editor for the engineering consultant firm Louis Berger and Associates (based in Morristown, NJ). I was soon promoted to Proposal Coordinator and maintained that position for just under one year. The opportunity soon arose for me to pursue my dream job: teaching. My career as a high school English teacher spanned almost 12 years and during the first three years I was the yearbook advisor as well as the drama and musical director. I spent the majority of my teaching career (8 years) at Hopkinton High School in Hopkinton, Massachusetts leaving teaching after the birth of my second child. I am a stickler for proper grammar and my aforementioned professional experience qualifies me to edit writing from a wide array of genres and disciplines.
