I attended law school, during which I not only wrote several of my own memoranda and briefs, but also worked as a teaching assistant in the legal research and writing class. This required familiarity with citation formats and The Chicago Manual of Style. My duties as a teaching assistant included coaching individual students on their writing assignments. Also during law school, I tutored various students who were chosen by the administration as needing extra help, either because of a language barrier or a prolonged absence from formal education prior to entering law school. Again, I was able to help these students with their writing skills. After law school, I worked as a writing consultant to two internationally published business authors, helping with their grammar, spelling, punctuation, organization, transitions, and style. I am confident that I can help you express yourself clearly, accurately, and succinctly.
