I hired ManuscriptDoctor to edit a paper for publication. There were many problems. First, there are only a few tracked changes compared to the feedback in your messages. Second, correcting the wrong identity of a group as 'control' was not included in the tracked changes. Third, with the exception of the word reduction, none of my other edits that I requested to my paper were completed nor were the any changes completed as it pertains to the feedback in your messages. Fourth, there still remains grammatical errors. Fifth, I could have gotten someone to provide me feedback for free. Sixth, my understanding of an editor is one that not only finds the errors in your paper, but will fix those errors, tweak the content, and refine the paper for publication. Seventh, if you do not provide the full services of an editor, then you should be clear about that in your profile otherwise it can be considered misleading. Lastly, the $178 I paid should be refunded.
