I have written extensively as an academic – in both English and Spanish – and have had articles published in scholarly journals. I’ve taught at the university level for 10 years and in that time worked with students’ writing projects in a variety of forms – from essays to research papers to an honors thesis. I also designed and implemented a writing intensive, literary-research-focused course for undergraduate Spanish majors. While the majority of my career has been spent in academia I have also edited pieces that were then published in professional journals.
