I am a PhD student in the College of Education at the University of Arizona. Over the last 15 years I've worked as a translator and teacher in a diverse range of contexts. In my most recent work teaching college students I've edited and revised both academic and creative work. I've written two full-length theses and will be presenting an article at the American Anthropological Association (AAA) in November. Besides academic writing, I'm a practicing creative writer, the author of numerous songs, poems, and short stories. I believe the best writing is clear, neat, elegant, specific, and concise. My background in anthropology, language teaching, and pedagogy has given me a deep working knowledge of social theory, historiography, language, and theories of learning.
