I am a former staff editor of The Texas Law Review, a top academic legal journal. In that position I worked with some of the finest legal minds in the country to create clean, accurate, compelling copy. Prior to that, my passion for research and writing led me to Brown University, where I chose to study in the research and writing heavy public policy program. I received my B.A. magna cum laude from the University of Denver, with departmental honors. I was also admitted to Phi Beta Kappa, the liberal arts honor society, largely because of my scholarship in writing research papers. I received my J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, with honors. After law school I joined one of the most prestigious law firms in Dallas where I frequently researched and wrote briefs. That, in fact, was my favorite aspect of my position. I have a passion for literature and books of all kinds. I have continued to edit papers of local students for the joy of learning.
