I am a detail-oriented and passionate editor and proofreader with a commitment to working toward economic, environmental, racial, and social justice. I have in-house and freelance book publishing experience, and am also interested in editing and/or proofreading academic papers, proposals, and other types of manuscripts. I worked in-house as a developmental and production editor for four years at an indie house—this included structuring and developing the manuscript, line edits, working through design ideas, and proofreading. I mainly focused on nonfiction titles, especially on the topics of art and design, pop culture, and history. I currently proofread nonfiction books as a freelancer.
