I have 10+ years of experience as an editor, writer, and creative solutions expert. Five of those years were spent as an editor for an international publishing house (John Wiley and Sons), working in development, production, and copyediting. I've produced and edited online content (e.g., Cliffs Notes tips), among other types of promotional materials. I've had my creative writing published in local markets, and was a Finalist for the Editor's Prize awarded by the Missouri Review (2005). I've written restaurant reviews and lifestyle articles for magazines on a freelance basis. Content specialties include psychology, social work, religion, spirituality, and computer software, as well as resumes and cover letters. I can wield my pen over pretty much any tousled document and have it come out looking like a star. However, my goal as an editor is not to reconstitute the style and tone of a piece, but to make the author's unique voice come through more clearly.
