I strive to always increase the clarity of my clients' writing. Many people know what they want to say; they just have trouble saying it clearly in writing. I am an adjunct professor of English at a number of schools. I have edited documents for small businesses, independent political candidates, and graduate students. I am very competent with MLA style, which I teach on a daily basis. I can also deal with Chicago, Turabian, and APA styles, but I have to the guidebooks handy for these. My philosophy is to make whatever changes are necessary in order to bring out the clarity of the original author's ideas without changing their meaning.
