I am a graduate of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. While at Cardozo Law School I was the Production Editor for the Cardozo Women’s Law Journal and was responsible for the publication of 5 volumes of the Journal. As the Production Editor I developed the editorial, time management, and interpersonal skills that are needed when editing documents, working to deadline and dealing with authors. Some of my responsibilities included editing articles for style, structure and content, corresponding with the Publisher, arranging the publication schedule and the overall layout of the Journal. I am currently clerking for a Civil Judge in Newark, New Jersey where I view non-jury trials and assist the Judge in making final determinations on small-claims cases, civil cases and landlord-tenant disputes. I draft decisions, legal memoranda and correspondence. My experience as a law clerk has taught me to think critically and has exposed me to a wide range of legal topics and issues.
