As a lifelong lover of words, I have been studying the craft of writing for 20 years. I balance the delight of writing sentences with the importance of storytelling and delivering a clear message. I am a MacDowell Fellow with an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Washington and a BA in Creative Writing from Eugene Lang at the New School. I have written one novel and am currently working on my second. My narrative short films have been featured in galleries and festivals nationwide. In addition to writing, I am passionate about ecology and wellness. I study dance and have facilitated classes in movement and meditation. I make my home in the woods of Upstate New York with my partner and my dog, Purple.
