As a former newspaper copy-editor, I have five years experience in editing AP Style copy. I graduated with a degree in English literature from Carson Newman University, a well-established Baptist university that has been operating since the 1800s. Within a few months of graduating, I was offered employment with a local newspaper, The Citizen Tribune. Along with working and editing for the newspaper, I have edited and proofread a published theological book for my former pastor, Major Dalton. During my time with Service Scape, I have edited various documents ranging from dissertations to church Christmas plays. I have worked often with non-native English writers to help them with grammar and word choice.
