I have been both a writer and editor for over 30 years. I am also a teacher of English literature and writing at the college level. I have had my own writing published in national, regional and local publications. My philosophy in a nutshell about writing is that it should be clear, above all. I consider myself a creative writer, but I have created all kinds of technical, professional and business pieces myself. I know what good writing is and I know how to help others improve. As an editor, I have worked on full-length books, articles, academic pieces and all sorts of creative pieces. I enjoy editing others' work and helping writers to be clearer, more concise and more professional. I also enjoy giving suggestions for making a piece more creative.
