As an editor, my goal is to help you clearly express your ideas and findings. As your editor, I examine the consistency and clarity of your writing. I help to make the language precise and focused. I have an eye for grammar mistakes, and I know what is expected for academic publications. I also provide helpful hints that will provide you with tools for your next writing project. I have edited more than 1200 scientific academic manuscripts, and I also have worked on theses, dissertations and grants. Most of my work has focused on editing for ESL/EFL clients. My undergraduate training was in molecular, cellular and developmental biology with a minor in mathematics. I completed my doctoral work in cellular and molecular pathology. My dissertation focused on organ transplant rejection. As a post doctoral scholar, I trained as a vascular biologist, studying cancer. I am now a project scientist working the field of regenerative medicine. I also have a strong publication history.
