Since the ripe age of 16 when I served as the editor-in-chief of my prep school literary magazine, I knew I had an affinity for language arts! My B.A. is in English with a minor in Creative Writing. I look forward to pursuing my Masters at Harvard University beginning in the fall of 2008! – I am currently employed as the executive director of a children’s museum where I am charged with the generation of all written correspondence including promotional materials to address exhibit and educational program content; grant proposals to secure funding; website verbiage; bi-monthly newsletters received by hundreds of constituency members; as well as public service announcements for the news media. – I am comfortable editing a wide range of written work including academic papers, grant proposals, essays, short stories, novels, poems, resumes, statements of purpose and all relevant collegiate application components, articles, newsletters, opinion pieces, etc. In my community, I freelance as an editor of other nonprofit and social sector newsletters, aid local authors and poets in perfecting their masterpieces, and serve as the facilitator for three writing groups in varying genres. I believe there is an author in each of us and I enjoy helping people hone their voice!
