For four years I was the writer and editor of vocabulary tests and vocabulary teaching books (Wordbooks) for the Johnson OConnor Research Foundation in New York. I began that job with a profound appreciation for the subtleties of English word meanings and honed that appreciation daily by finding the distinctions that would make the ideal vocabulary test. I have a BA in Philosophy and an MS in Information Systems. I did graduate work in psychology for two years but did not complete a degree. While working for more than a decade as the manager of library computer systems at a medical university I edited numerous resumes, CVs, letters of application, term papers, theses and award winning essays because that is my talent and I love to practice it. I am well-read in philosophy, literature and technology. I currently administer a wildlife rehabilitation clinic because I love animals as much as I do reading and editing. This experience has led me to become well versed in environmental literature as well. I will bring the same meticulous care, precision and breadth of knowledge to your project that I brought to the construction of the almost perfect vocabulary test.
